Gallbladder Testing
Gallbladder disease is the term used to describe many of the illnesses that can affect the gallbladder. To diagnose these, your doctor will ask about your symptoms.
After questioning you and performing a physical exam to eliminate some causes from the list of possibilities, your doctor will likely perform blood, urine, and imaging tests to look at your gallbladder.
Gallbladder imaging tests may include an ultrasound, x-rays, CT scan, MRI, and/or ERCP.
